Secure Trade Partnership Plus

The STP is a voluntary certification programme consistent with the World Customs Organisation (WCO) SAFE Framework of Standards to facilitate global trade.

Companies that have adopted and implemented robust security measures will benefit from increased visibility of goods in the supply chain, reduction in pilferages and greater efficiency in their supply chain management.

TradeFIRST (Trade Facilitation and Integrated Risk-Based System) is is a single trade facilitation window that makes trade easy, fair and secure. It supports Singapore Customs (SC)'s trade facilitation and compliance efforts by enabling SC to assess a company holistically, based on a common set of assessment criteria applied across all facilitations.

This integrated risk management approach and partnership with trade will raise the compliance and supply chain security standards of companies, resulting in reduced regulatory cost and greater facilitation for traders.

TIC has been awarded with the Premium band and can enjoy the facilitation and schemes accorded to the Premium band and the ones below it.

Regulated Air Cargo Agents Regime

RACA logo.png

The Regulated Air Cargo Agent Regime (RCAR) is a security measure to enhance air cargo security on commercial passenger aircraft. Singapore is implementing the RCAR with effect from 1 April 2008.

The RCAR is based on the underlying principle that an aircraft shall operate in a secured environment, thereby requiring consignments of cargo transported on commercial passenger aircraft to be subjected to some degree of security measures before they are loaded onto the aircraft. Security measures will be used to screen and clear cargo. Cargo that has been cleared shall then be protected from unlawful interference or contamination until they are loaded onto the aircraft.

With this certification, TIC's shipments will enjoy random screening of cargo instead of all cargos.

ISO 9001: 2015 - Quality Management
