Customer Service Executive (AIR)

Provides front line service to customers by booking cargo shipments into tracking system. Handles and resolves customer complaints and special air shipping requirements. Solving to customer questions regarding product or services. Candidate should have experience in sales, customer service or an operational coordination role in transportation, freight forwarding and/or air cargo transport industry.

Candidate should also be proficient in common office and internet applications, such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook), Microsoft 365 and Google Drive.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for providing professional, excellent service to our customers on a daily basis by building and maintaining relationships; providing and responding to customers' needs on carriage availability and order status.

  • Able to negotiate rates and cargo space with carriers/airlines.

  • Proactively anticipating problems for customers using daily reporting functions.

  • Facilitate win-win solutions during problem-solving for both our customers and company by creating efforts through sales, scheduling, transportation and after sales service.

  • Responsible for product knowledge and excellent communications with customers in securing the best carrier for cargo movements.

  • Solicit sales to established accounts through outbound calls to existing customers.

  • Responsible for accurate order entry of orders, monitoring proper pricing, and monitoring/resolving any credit issues related to these orders.

  • Responsible for maximizing loading and shipping methods for all orders.

  • Participate in growth development and cross-training efforts.

  • Provide and maintain monthly administrative reports and personal metrics.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

 

 

Operation Executive (Export)

Coordination of air freight for export; support general office operations whenever needed; close coordination with customer service, understanding the airline operational process

Key Responsibilities

  • Export coordination of air freight shipments.

  • Preparing Documents and submitting to Singapore Customs.

  • Respond to phone, e-mail, or faxed and requests from clients, agents or outside sales representatives.

  • Handle bookings for consignee routed cargo as requested by our agents, shippers.

  • Coordinate pickups and provide timely quotes for inland.

  • Obtaining estimated costs for unusual cargo such as oversize, dangerous goods and perishables. Follow up on cargo arrival at destination for pending inland arrangements.

  • Assist in any service requests from customers or agents as required by the line managers in the Air Freight Department.

  • Manages difficult customer situations.

  • Responds promptly to customer needs.

  • Solicits customer feedback to improve service.

  • Responds to requests for service and assistance professionally.

  • Speaks clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations.

  • Listens and gets clarification. Responds well to questions.

  • Writes clearly and informatively.

  • Able to read and interpret written information.

  • Gives and welcomes feedback.

  • Contributes to building a positive team spirit.

  • Follows policies and procedures.

  • Completes administrative tasks correctly and on time.

  • Supports organization's goals and values.

Sea Freight Executive

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the coordination of Sea Import shipments such as, opening import and export files using Sysfreight software, maintaining internal documentations, monitoring and updating statuses. Advising customers of shipments Arrival, arrange deliveries, process invoices (accurate currencies and verify shipment weight and volume). Correspondence with e-mail queries from overseas offices/agents and clients. Ensuring accurate data entry and excellent communications are maintained in a timely and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities

  • Declaration of Import and Export Customs permit

  • Practice due diligent to ensure Bill of lading, invoices and all documents relating to shipment movements are properly checked

  • Organise proper transportation required for pick-up or delivery

  • Ensure all work is carried out according to our policy and procedures

  • To communicate through emails, telephones and other forms of communication professionally

  • Maintain our SOP policy and escalate any irregularities

  • Open new files for every shipment and maintain all transactions

  • Develop an excellent rapport with clients, carriers, NVOCC and service providers to receive good understanding and cooperation.

  • Recommend improvements in operational processes, cost control, customer service.

  • Any ad-hoc duties as and when required
